Project Overview

JBE successfully delivered a complete level crossing renewal for GrainCorp following a train derailment attributed to the poor condition of the existing infrastructure. The level crossing and associated ties had reached their end of service life, with severely deteriorated timber sleepers allowing track gauge spread and contributing to the incident. The renewal works restored the integrity of the road/rail interface, improved operational reliability, and provided GrainCorp with a safer, more resilient crossing asset.
